Finding the right people is a battle. Performance BTP draws on a tested network of contractors and partners to connect the right projects with the right professionals, across the Paris region.
A recommended contractor only matters if they are genuinely reliable. The Performance BTP network is built on professionals whose seriousness, insurance and quality have been verified. Recommendation commits: that's why selection is demanding, in the interest of both clients and our reputation.
Every job has its specifics: a façade refresh, an energy renovation or high-end fit-out don't call for the same skills. The introduction matches the professional whose specialty and profile truly fit the need, rather than an approximate generalist.
Searching, vetting and comparing contractors takes considerable time and remains risky for a private client. Relying on a qualified network saves that time and reduces risk. The client tackles their project with already-proven people, rather than rolling the dice.
Joining the Performance BTP network is not straightforward. Our selection process runs in 4 stages. Stage 1 — Initial interview: in-person meeting to understand the business, values and ambitions. Stage 2 — Document verification: valid decennial insurance certificate, public liability, company registration, qualifications (RGE, Qualibat, etc.). Stage 3 — Reference check: direct contact with 2 to 3 recent clients to assess work quality and schedule adherence. Stage 4 — Trial mission: on the first projects carried out through the network, a client satisfaction survey is systematically conducted. Only 40% of applicants are admitted to the network.
When a client instructs us for a referral, we do not produce a list — we produce a match. We analyse the project (type of works, budget, timeline, location), the client profile (homeowner, investor, agency, property manager), and technical specificities (heritage building, shared ownership, occupied premises). We then select from our network the 2 to 3 professionals best positioned for that specific project — not those who are available, but those who are the best fit for that particular job.
Our role does not end at the introduction. We provide post-referral follow-up at day 30, day 90 and at project handover. If difficulties arise (delays, defects, price disagreements), we step in as mediators. If a network contractor does not meet our standards on a mission, they are removed from the network — without exception. This rigour is what makes our network valuable to clients.
A project owner burned by a first failed job was looking for reliable contractors with no idea who to trust. Introductions to proven network professionals let him relaunch his project with confidence, with people whose seriousness was already known. Peace of mind restored, project completed.
A recommendation doesn't exempt you from checking insurances and putting the project in writing. A good network strongly reduces risk, but a clear quote and current liability insurance remain essential, even with a recommended contractor.
