Regulation is evolving fast, creating both constraints and massive opportunities for construction professionals. The mandatory energy audit: since 2023, homes rated F and G must provide an energy audit at the point of sale. In 2025, E-rated homes are included. This generates a constant flow of energy renovation work. The RE2020 regulation: applicable to new builds, it imposes stricter requirements on insulation, heating and carbon footprint. Tradespeople trained in RE2020-compliant techniques are positioning themselves in a fast-growing market. MaPrimeRénov' and CEE grants: energy renovation grants remain generous (up to 90% of the works for modest incomes). Knowing how to assemble a grant application is a major competitive advantage. Our advice: get RGE-certified if you are not already. 80% of grants require an RGE professional. It is a €1,500 to €3,000 investment that can bring you tens of thousands of euros in work.
